LANDSCAPES, VIEWS, PLACES OF ROMAN CAMPAGNA IN PAINTING OF ALESSANDRO NESCI
The research on landscape painting of the Roman Campagna in the works of this second period is characterized by the approach to the painting of the second half of the nineteenth and early twentieth century.
The paintings of Roman period of Camille Corot, the pictures of Nino Costa, the paintings of XXV of Roman Campagna, the circle of artists dealt with the issues concerning the Roman and Lazio landscape are the sources from which I draw to compose my works.
In this second period in the exploration of color, the color mixtures are gradually cleared, the brush stroke becomes thinner and thinner, more and more forms mentioned, as if the memories and dreams, yearning to experience the landscapes of the Roman Campagna, as flush on the boards.
